This is a lovely sphere but difficult to capture by photograph. It is a heavy grounding and protecting stone that has a lovely weight in the hand. Gentle but profoundly calming and great for use in meditation. A really nice piece!
Description: Hypersthene is sometimes called the ‘velvet labradorite’ although it is a totally different mineral. Considered a protective stone, hypersthene helps create calmness and quietness within the mind of the wearer. It grounds us in an attempt to shield from hectic stimuli. With less outside “noise,” wearers of hypersthene are said to better organize thoughts and find creative solutions to problems.
Hypersthene is ideal for holding during meditation. It is also believed hypersthene can enhance self-esteem without promoting ego.
