Each gift set contains an information card about each crystal. There is also an affirmation card for each purpose and they are all packaged in a luxury white gift box. A grey silk carrying bag is included for the care of your crystal set.

AMETHYST
Ancient Greeks and Romans routinely studded their goblets with amethyst convinced that it would reduce the wines ability to intoxicate! Curbing over indulgence emotionally as well as physically is one of the properties of Amethyst as is the power of protection. Worn by priests to prevent mystical intoxication and in older traditions considered to be protection against witchcraft and negative energy. Amethyst is renowned as a healing stone for ailments and emotional well being. A strong protector that turns negative energy into positive. Amethyst is an exceptional crystal for wearing on the body, for use in healing rituals, and for enhancing one’s environment.

MANGANO CALCITE
Mangano Calcite shares the properties of all Calcite as a stone of the higher mind, inspiration and spiritual enlightenment. Norse legends speak of a “sunstone” which was held up to the sky in order to see the sun on an overcast day, allowing the Vikings to navigate in open sea. Archaeologists now believe this was clear optical calcite, as the double refraction does help to locate the sun visually through clouds. The most notable deposit of optical calcite was at Eskifjord, Iceland – hence the nickname “Iceland spar”. These mysterious and celestial connections are reflected in the ability of calcite to strengthen our own psychic connection between the physical and metaphysical realms. APACHE TEAR
All the qualities that you would expect for Black Obsidian but this prized type is not all it seems. The characteristic qualities of Obsidian are there but if you hold the piece to the light you will see there is a translucent quality not normally present. This is the quality that defines the ‘Apache Tear’. However it should also be a ‘nugget’ formation and originate from Arizona USA to be a true Apache Tear. The name “Apache tear” comes from a legend of the Apache tribe: about 75 Apaches and the US Cavalry fought on a mountain overlooking what is now Superior, Arizona in the 1870s. Facing defeat, the outnumbered Apache warriors rode their horses off the mountain to their deaths rather than be killed. The wives and families of the warriors cried when they heard of the tragedy; their tears turned into stone upon hitting the ground. Its subtle male energies attract the spiritual adventures, it keeps energy well grounded, clears subconscious blocks and brings an experience and understanding of silence, detachment, wisdom and love.
